Pipeline Integrity Engineer (m/f)

We are seeking a mid–senior Pipeline Integrity Engineer to join our IT department. In this role, you will play a key part in bridging technical solutions and field data with the data analytics solutions we develop and deliver through the AYMO (Pipeline Integrity Management) platform as part of our services to clients.

Your Responsibilities

  • Participate in the end-to-end delivery of solutions to clients
  • Integrate IT systems, engineering analytics, and operational environments
  • Work with IT-based tools and platforms
  • Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders
  • Deliver training sessions and provide user support
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and applicability of delivered solutions
  • Coordinate and align activities between operators, ILI vendors, and the asset / PIMS systems

Domain Expertise

  • Interpretation of ILI (In-Line Inspection) data (MFL and UT tools; vendor formats such as ROSEN, TDW, NDT, etc.)
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (ASME B31, NACE SP0502 (ECDA), API 579, EN 16348)
  • Corrosion assessment: FFP (Fitness for Purpose) and CGR (Corrosion Growth Rate)
  • Cathodic Protection (CP) systems: CIPS and DCVG surveys
  • Risk-Based Inspection methodologies: PoF / CoF matrices, inspection interval definition
  • Experience with GIS systems and spatial data (chainage, coordinates)

IT / Software Skills

  • Python / Pandas for large-scale ILI data processing
  • Jupyter Notebooks as an analytical tool
  • REST API integrations (AYMO platform – Jupyter – Marimo)
  • Data pipeline structuring (CSV processing, Excel parsing, data merging logic)
  • Analytical processing and data-driven reasoning
